What a remap actually does (and what it doesn't)

Remapping gets talked about like magic, and it isn’t. Here’s the honest version.

Your car’s ECU controls fuelling, ignition timing and, on turbo cars, boost. A remap rewrites those tables. Done well, on the right car, it makes the power arrive more cleanly and unlocks what your setup is genuinely capable of. Done badly, with a generic file bought online, it’s a gamble with your engine.

The gains are real, within reason. A turbo car will usually see more than a naturally aspirated one. We map to the goal you give us, whether that’s cleaner everyday economy or every safe horsepower your build can hold, and we keep it well inside safe limits.

A custom map beats an off-the-shelf one every time. A file bought online can’t know what’s bolted to your engine or what fuel you run. We develop the map around your exact car, logging live data and refining until the fuelling, boost and timing are right.
