Who we are

Trackside Imports is a trading name of Yates Auto Trades Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company number 16602236). Our workshop is at Unit 5b, Barncroft Farm, Woodend Lane, Mobberley, WA16 7LZ. What we collect

When you enquire. If you fill in our enquiry form, we collect the details you give us: your name, your phone number and/or email, any vehicle details (registration, make, model), the service you're interested in, your message, and, if you ask for a mobile visit, the address where the vehicle is. We also record which page you enquired from and, where present, the marketing source so we know how you found us.

Automatically. When you use the site, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working. If you accept cookies (see below), we also collect anonymous usage and advertising measurement data.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and carry out the work you ask for — to take steps to enter into, and perform, a contract with you.
• To keep the site secure and running — for our legitimate interests.
• To measure how our website and ads perform — only where you have given consent.

Cookies

• Essential: a small amount of storage needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. These are always on.
• Analytics & advertising: we use Google's tag to measure how our ads and pages perform. These only run if you accept them in our cookie banner. Until you accept, they stay switched off (we use Google Consent Mode to enforce this).

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the business:

• Bayline — the workshop software we use to manage enquiries and jobs; your enquiry lands there so we can deal with it.
• Google — for advertising and measurement, only with your consent.
• Cloudflare — our hosting and security provider.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and customer details for as long as we're dealing with you and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To do any of these, email [email protected].
